Kyle Busch apologizes to Hendrick teammates

Kyle Busch is trying to mend relationships with his Hendrick Motorsports teammates.
The 22-year-old driver, who will be replaced by Dale Earnhardt Jr. next season at HMS, apologized after Saturday’s team meeting to Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and Casey Mears for recent comments regarding their loyalty.
Busch had claimed the three did not help him when they normally would have with a chance to win the Pepsi 400 at Daytona three weeks ago, saying, “If I have to race my teammates now differently than what I used to, then I’ll do it.”
He said Gordon blew him off after the race, which Gordon said never happened, and that he now was the outsider looking in at HMS. He continued to fuel the fire with comments the following week at Chicago.
“I have started a lot of it myself,” Busch admitted before Sunday’s Nextel Cup race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. “I have made a lot of mistakes and opened my mouth too much.”

Well thank you Kyle but ya shouldn’t have opened your yap in the first place
Admitting your wrong is the first step of maturity.
let him be.. he is a very young driver..
Wow, never thought he would admit it, but since he has, he is being the bigger man. Never thought I would say that about him.
I agree sicko4stewart. I think the best way to get back at Hendrick
is to win the Championship, then we will see how good Jr does in
that car next year.
Although this might be a hoax so that other Team Owners don’t think he’s a loose cannon?
KYLE IS HAPPY THAT JEFF COMPLIMENTED HIM AFTER THE RACE.
well kyle, should we open thy mouth and insert thy foot,, i think it,s too
late for appologies now, and yea it,s great that gordon complimented him after the race, but that dosent fix the ideal that he has torn the hendricks name apart with his bull shit comments, he made his bed now lay in it.

If he’s sincere in his apology, kudos for being the bigger man. If
he’s just trying to save face, he should of just stuck by what he
said. No point in apologizing if it’s not sincere anyway because
then you’re still being an a__.
