Kobalt Tools to sponsor Johnson in Cup, Busch races

Kobalt Tools will sponsor the #48 Lowe’s Chevy in two of Jimmie Johnson’s Nextel Cup Series races as well as all three of his Busch Series races in 2007. Kobalt Tools will also be the title sponsor for the March 18 race at Atlanta Motor Speedway now called the Kobalt Tools 500.
The Kobalt Tools paint scheme will appear on Johnson’s #48 Nextel Cup car at Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 18 and at Texas Motor Speedway on Nov. 4. Johnson will race the Kobalt Tools paint scheme in Busch Series races at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on May 26 and Oct. 12 as well as California Speedway on Sept. 1.
Kobalt Tools is an industry frontrunner in hand tools, mechanics’ tools, tool accessories and just recently introduced the Portable CO2 Regulator which is a portable CO2 tank that connects to any standard pneumatic device for power and strength on-the-go.
