Matt KensethHas anyone seen Matt Kenseth’s car?

One of Roush Fenway Racing’s show cars, adorned like Kenseth’s Nextel Cup Series No. 17 Ford, was stolen from a Hampton Inn parking lot between 5 and 5:45 a.m. Wednesday in Atlanta, according to the Dekalb County Sheriff’s office.

Not only was the mock race car stolen, but the 2006 Ford F-350 dually with crew cab and the Featherlite trailer that were transporting it were taken as well.

The F-350 and Featherlite hauler were located Wednesday afternoon but police were still searching for the missing race car Wednesday evening.

If you have any information as to the missing show car, contact the auto theft unit of the Dekalb County Sheriff’s office at (770) 724-7650.

  7. 7 Nathan

They wanted the truck and trailer, not the #17 car.

If they wanted the truck and trailer, then why is the car still missing??

guess it kinda prooves my point to everyone
about driving on the interstates here in
    georgia—-you just gotta PRETEND it’s a NASCAR
race cuz if you don’t keep up at 75 or sometimes even
85 mph you get ran over.

Now i never meant STEAL a racecar from NASCAR!!!

hmmmmmmmmmmm i wonder if i can do a trade in
on my 97 Riveria for a slightly used mock racecar???

A word to Jack Roush. Dont leave anything valuable unattended in Atlanta. The only thing there are more of here than streets named Peachtree…is car thieves. I bet someone running at Lanier raceway this Saturday night laps the field in their new Fusion.

lol.. this is funny… sorry but it is! HA HA HA HA!! well stolen is better then saying i miss placed it!

hahaha. oh, well. That would be friggin awesome to have a show car sitting in your back yard. You’d think the cops would have found the car by now… Bet that thing brings a pretty penny on the black market even if it is a mock up.

It would be way too tempting to take that thing out on the street, even if they would bust me at first sight.

ok with all the high tech stuff Mr. Roush has or could get you would think they could had a alarm installed on something that important , or maybe choose a better more secure hotel . wonder if it is anyone of those one tooth wonders who seem to throw things on the track that stole it

  14. 14 Axel Foley

yeah, you’d think they’d have lojack or something. one tooth wonders?

  15. 15 Didi

Good Grief! This is just a whole bowl of wrong.

Who were watching the friggin’ thing? The Keystone Cops?

The bad thing about this is….with ALL THE DECALS AND THE DETAILS on the sumgum, they STILL can’t find it? You mean to tell me, that a car that stand out like that is “Lost” in Atlanta?

Remind me to keep my Escalade in NYC. I see it’s safer. LMAO!

In all seriousness, it’s messed up that a moron would do this. I hope they find it before they strip it for parts:(

LOL! HOW the HELL do u you a f*$n race car!? HAHAAHA. oh wow that sucks but thats hilarious. The security guards or cops are the ones that probably stole it lol Thats crazyyy.

  17. 17 HoppyGirllllllll

Really, how do you think you will get away with this? I mean, it’s not like you
can just take it to the grocery store or anything. What’s the point in a race car
    that you can’t show off?
