Kenseth not taking blame for Bristol incident with Jarrett

Matt Kenseth refused to take the blame for an accident involving Dale Jarrett last weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway, despite some heated comments from Jarrett after the race.
Friday at Martinsville Speedway, Kenseth said he understood Jarrett’s anger but has yet to talk to Jarrett this weekend.
“If I would have run into the back of him, I would have called him right away and talked to him about it, but I tried to pass him five or six times, and that time I had three or four feet underneath him and that was my spot, so I didn’t feel I did anything wrong,” Kenseth said. “I was in my spot, which was underneath him, and he came down into my lane and spun himself out, so I don’t really feel like I was at fault in the incident, and I didn’t see a big need to seek him out.”

I agree 110%…Matt had the position Jarrett just came down and it was typical Bristol. I don’t understand why it’s become such a big deasl!
I agree as well. Jarrett moved down in front of Kenseth who clearly had position. What do you expect at Bristol
I think Jarrett’s been in racing long enough to know that if a driver behind you is faster…let ‘em go. Reminds me of last year, I believe it was also at Bristol when Matt was leading and caught up to Jarrett as he was a lap down car already & Jarrett wouldn’t let him go by and Kurt Busch & Jeff Gordon caught up to Matt, which them came to the point when Gordon & Matt got into each other.
Jarrett can still teach these young pups a few things. Don’t count him out yet.
Well i know darn right as a driver, that that early in the race, Jarret should of let him go instead of taking a risk and thinking he was clear. You cant just cut down like he did. Juan Pablo ran under Scott Pruet at mexico to win, that was not fair for pruet, pruet (idk if i spelt that right) was just ran into at the last second, but Kenseth (who i like less then Jarret) did nothing wrong because he kept is position, and had Jarret way down the straightaway, and jarret didnt think so.
and i wouldnt take the blame either, Matt kept is position
