Kenny Wallace announced on Tuesday that he will race in the Nextel Cup Series race at Bristol motor Speedway in the #45 Petty Enterprises Dodge, replacing the injured Kyle Petty. This is currently a one race deal, as Petty is expected to make a full recovery form an injured hand. Kenny says that he is excited and grateful for the opportunity.
“I’m very honored that Kyle Petty has asked me to fill in at Bristol,” Kenny says. “ It always makes a driver feel good when someone recognizes their talent. I’m sure Kyle will be ready for California, so this is a one race deal.”

Pretty good upgrade for old ‘Herm to go from Furniture Row to Petty, even if it is just for one race… At least he doesn’t have to worry about racing his way into the big show this weekend.
Pretty old pic there of Kenny. Looking at the uniform it still has
Square D on it and Winston cup. Since it also has Chevy on it that
would put him in the Andry Petree #55 car of ‘99 or 2000
I can’t find an up to date pic of Kenny for the life of me so if you find one…
Hey editor, how about this one (scaled down to fit, obviously):

Yeah I like that one better…how’s that?
Thanks Jeff!
Gotta love Kenny Wallace.
Remember when Marlin was cut loose and Kyle Petty was stunned? Kyle said he would of put Marlin in HIS car (when he was broadcasting) if he’d known he was available. Then last week, Marlin didn’t have a ride and Kyle had McCumbee in the car. This week Marlin has a ride. But what about the next one Kyle? Are you sincere? Would you really use Marlin to fill in for you? Just wondering.
Ha! The pic was fine. Just showing off a little I guess.
Sorry didn’t mean to make work for people.
ALRIGHT KENNY WIN THE RACE..
