Jay Robinson Racing officials announced Tuesday that veteran Kenny Wallace will take over the team’s No. 28 Nationwide Series Chevrolet, beginning with this weekend’s Pepsi 300 at Nashville Superspeedway.
The team will be sponsored by the U.S. Border Patrol. Wallace, who left Fitz Motorsports’ No. 36 Dodge because of sponsorship issues, will drive the rest of the season for JRR.
“Kenny brings some valuable experience and history of success to the JRR team,” owner Jay Robinson said. “I am more than confident that he will have the No. 28 U.S. Border Patrol Chevy running competitively on a weekly basis as well as being a key factor in helping the U.S. Border Patrol reach their recruitment initiative goals.”
- Kenny Wallace to the No 88?
- Kenny Wallace to run Petty’s #45 at Bristol
- Wallace to sub for Rudd again at Kansas
- Wallace to drive Germain’s No 7 Nationwide entry
- Wallace in the No 88 for Rudd at Dover

Can any body visualize Kenny Wallace as a recruiter for any branch. That would be a kick to see.
Glad Kenny has a ride he can drive if given the right equipment. Not everyone is a top 10 driver thats why there is 42 cars.
Good luck Kenny,you deserve a good ride…….
GO KENNY!!
Maybe as part of this deal they should put Kenny down there on the border a few days a week… Those illegals would see him and think all Americans are as insane as him and they’d turn right back around and go back to their homes!
go kenny, u are the best drive in nasty car. all u needd is a really good car and u would show them all how to get it done

Good one Jeff. Im still laughing
You would think with Kenny’s personality sponsors would be lining up at the door. I think this younger and younger trend is getting way out of hand. When you have drivers like Sterlin and Ward who cannot attract a good sponsor we are the ones missing out.
