Kahne staying with Evernham in 2008 but new sponsor is a possibility

Kasey Kahne says that he has no plans to leave Evernham Motorsports at the end of the year and although he is happy with Dodge as the car’s title sponsor he’s aware of the potential interest in a new sponsor for the team.
“I can do whatever anybody wants to put a good deal together, and right now we’re doing an awesome job with Dodge and the Dodge dealers,” Kahne said Friday morning at Chicagoland Speedway. “It seems like we sell just about as much apparel as most of the guys. Things go really well at the souvenir trailer. I could stay red with Bud, I could be M&Ms, I could be anything anybody wants me to be. It’s just a matter of if they really want us and if we can do it. I don’t really know what happened or what will happen.”
But Kahne points out that he has not spoken to any sponsors at this time.
“I’ve never talked to anyone from Bud or any other place other than Dodge dealers and what we’ve got going on,” Kahne said.

I was at Chicagoland yesterday, and his merch trailers had buy 1 get 1 free. Somethings up.
I think hes going to get a new sponsor, Dodge sponsors 2 of evernham’s cars already so if dodge looses one of the cars to a new sponsor it wont really do much.

I think he would be better off leaving Evernham and moving into a Cheverolet. If he does get a new sponser, I would prefer in not be Budwiser just because I don’t like wearing things with alchoolic beverages on them. However, I am one of his biggest fans and will still buy the shirt even though it is on there.
