Hendrick Motorsports officials announced Wednesday that Jimmie Johnson will compete in three NASCAR Nationwide Series races in 2008, driving the No. 5 Chevrolet fielded by JR Motorsports.
Johnson will drive in the Nationwide races at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on May 24 and Oct. 10 and at California Speedway on Aug. 30 in the entry that resulted after JR Motorsports and Hendrick merged their Nationwide (formerly Busch) operations. The No. 5 Chevrolet will be sponsored by Lowe’s, which backs Johnson’s No. 48 Sprint Cup team.

I remember reading somewhere that he wants to run around 110. So Im thinking he’ll do the SS races, the Bristol races, Richmond, Texas, and a few other tracks.
jimmie and dale teaming up…….leaving jeff out in the cold?? hmmmmmmmmmm.
Jeff never runs in the “Busch” races these days… Jimmie does it
for Lowes and his home state…
Junior got Jimmie to do it because he could!
should be an awesome combo
