Jim Beam officials announced today that the distillery will continue as a primary sponsor of Robby Gordon Motorsports’ No. 7 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series entry in 2008.
The company will sponsor driver Robby Gordon in 13 Cup races and two races in the Nationwide (currently Busch) Series next season in what will be the fourth season of the company’s sponsorship with RGM.
“We appreciate Jim Beam for supporting our team for a fourth straight year,” Gordon said. “We have shown that we can be competitive as an independent race team and believe that through the continued support of Jim Beam for the No. 7 Ford Fusion, we can do even more next year as the full-time use of the car of tomorrow levels the playing field even more.”

Thats a waste of good $$ on Jim Beams part. They need to find a better driver/owner than this idiot.
That’s awesome! Jim Beam gets such exposure with a guy like Robby. Between NASCAR, running Baja, the Dakar Rally, and others, Beam gets exposure not only here at home, but in places like Mexico & Spain. Robby is by far the best single car team out there and has performed better than several of the multi-car teams. Kudos to Jim Beam. Gas on!
I’ll drink to that!
