SMI has wanted the same thing so far this year for all of their tracks, and each time they have said the race would be disasterous without an open test day. And each time SMI was wrong.

I say let them test, they can test ARCA cars, they can test USAR/ASA cars, Heck maybe Humpy can dust off those cars that he made when he tried to create his own Racing series (before he stole the money from the investors and then decided that he did not want to start his own series)…

They have a few Practices for the All-Star race, plus a few practices for the 600, I think thats more then enough time.

Great Idea and it will build intrest for the All Star event = putting $$$ in Humpys bottom line.
No one said he was dumb just annoying…

Practice is always a good thing especially with this new car.

Great idea…the races have been not so competitive this year
due to only 5-6 cars hitting the set up or even being close
this would allow for better racing.

great idea in my opinion. the teams do need some extra time with the car on these types of tracks, and nascar really cannot afford the all-star race and the 600 being bad shows.
