Harvick tells Busch to quit whining about COT

Kyle Busch, who complained about NASCAR’s car of tomorrow on national television after winning the first COT race at Bristol Motor Speedway, needs to get over it, rival Kevin Harvick says.
Harvick - never a friend of Busch - said Friday at Texas Motor Speedway that the Hendrick Motorsports driver should get over his dislike and move on.
“Kyle Busch needs to quit whining about the car of tomorrow and realize that he’s got to race it,” Harvick said.
“Maybe if he doesn’t like it, he can go race ARCA cars.”

Tell him Harvick! I’m not a big fan of Harvick either, but I really like what he had to say about Kyle’s punk ass!
Wow…that was a pretty delayed comeback on Harvick’s part! haha Wasn’t Bristol like a month ago?
hahaha thats funny. i hope they fight and kick the crap out of each other.
Im not a fan of harvick or busch but im glad harvick said something to busch about it.
If you dont like the car, find another sport to race in.
Like voicing a complaint is less mature then pinning the car of the guy that just beat you against pit wall then stomping across his hood. Harvick hasn’t any room to whine about anybody whining!
Oh and let’s ignore the drivers concerns about the Crap of tomorrow so maybe we have some more *exciting* racing that ends up being a fans dream race and a drivers last ride It is never wise to ignore drivers complaints even if we think their stupid or whiny, it gets drivers killed. *Shut up and drive* is an irresponsible and selfish philosophy and if *fans* don’t understand the nuances of real racing maybe they ought to go watch demolishion derbies.
Read this for a realistic perspective of the dangers of *shut up and drive! http://www.nascar.com/2007/news/opinion/04/04/dcaraviello.cot.drivers.complaints/index.html
When they ask a driver what he thinks, I want to know what he thinks. I appreciated hearing
what Kyle Busch (the winner) had to say about the car after the first race driving it. I can’t
stand all this “political correctness” BS.
I am not a Harvick fan by any means, but watching today’s race (Texas) both of those
Busch boys need to be selling hot dogs, not racing. They are both dangerous idiots!
Yes, HoppyGirl, you are right, at least about Kyle Busch. His older brother, Kurt, I don’t like him either, but I did not see anything out of him today that would make me believe he is dangerous. But I was extremely pissed to see what Kyle did. That is not the first time he has done something like that. His driving is completely out of line. Not even Earnhardt Sr. himself would do some of the things that Kyle does in that race car. He is extremely dangerous. He did not even slow down today when he hit Jr. I understand there was a lot of smoke coming from Smoke’s car while he was spinning, which made it hard to see what was going on ahead, but Jr., who was closer to Tony, didn’t hit anyone or anything. He knew the caution was out and slowed down. Better yet, by seeing all the smoke, he knew there was a car spinning and couldn’t necessarily see it, so he slowed down. Kyle, on the other hand, just kept trucking. What the hell was that all about??? And then, on top of that, he just up and left the track like a little whining kid. He didn’t even say anything or ask if his car would get back in the race or not. He just ditched his team. They had to get another driver to drive that car. And that driver was Dale Jr. I would not have got in that car to help Kyle, not after what he had done. But I commend Jr. on being the bigger man. Someone, maybe NASCAR, maybe Rick Hendrick, needs to set this kid down and seriously talk with him about his actions. He needs to either straighten up or pack his bags and get out. I don’t think NASCAR should allow him to stay on the track as long as he keeps this attitude and style of driving. I don’t know what it will take to tame him, but it needs to be done before someone gets hurt or killed. I’m not real sure who all saw what happened today for what really happened, but it was very obvious to me exactly what happened. Kyle just didn’t slow down. Maybe is isn’t completely his fault, maybe his spotter or crew chief, or whoever didn’t tell him the cation was out. But it was so obvious that there was something going on in front of him and he should have slowed down. Well, I’ve said what I had to say, let’s hope someone reads this that should read it.
I agree with Dustin and I did watch the race. I’m not a fan of Kurt Busch either but there was a BIG mistake made when they let Kyle on the track. He is a very dangerous driver & I’m not impressed with him at all. I think someone is going to get hurt before someone finally takes a stand. And I give Jr. props for being the bigger man. You can tell he isn’t full of himself like some drivers!
I agree Joy, Jr.’s new-found maturity (last couple of seasons) is something that
EVERYONE should take note of, even if you are not a fan of his (which I am), you
have to notice - no pot shots at anyone lately. And he even drove that little
punk Kyle’s car so it could finish!
The crap of tomorrow is what the car should be called.I find myself less interested in Nascar because the changes have”ruined” a sport I was always a fan of until the last five or six years,Dodge has an aerodynamic brick street car but the race car has a different frontend???? The cars are becoming cookie-cutter similar and the driver is becoming less important which is probably why we have seen an exodus of great drivers leaving for retirement, the cars and some of the newer idiots that somehow became drivers yet they have no common sense.Smoke=slow down, duh, how stupid is Busch. He is an example as well as Montoya, both impatient morons who don’t belong behind the wheel, never mind racing.I’ve seen a bunch in 30 years of being a fan but now I find my interest waning as the direction this sport is going is down,10 years and it won’t be popular if it even is still around, this is what happens when you change things and its already beginning to show(California?)
Back on topic: Whether you like the driver or not, don’t you want an honest answer if someone’s asked a question?
Considering the fact that KB won the first race with the COT, I was interested in hearing what he thought. In fact,
I’m interested in what all the drivers think of it. Sounds like some of you think that a negative opinion is
automatically whining, or is it just because it came from a driver you don’t like?
WOOHOO!!!!! GO HARVICK!
