Congrats to Denny - Just like that kid. Hungry, attitude, got it and got it bad...It's not hard to see 'focus and determination'. Its consistant and he is off to a great start. This "V" was earned all the way. Now if only I could have Fed Ex who's made some money to make a few new commercials. It's getting old what I'm seeing.

Unfortunate for Robby Gordon. He has really been dealt cards and and has such a great racer is he. Lady Luck needs to leave this guy alone! Thought the same with Bobby Labonte and years of bad luck before going to Petty Ent.

Jeff Gordon what a smack that guy took. That was such a hard lick and until he climbed out I wasn't sure if ok, or not. Safer Barriers and those haans devices certainly do make a difference. I'm glad stewart adjusted to his. Remember all the fuss he gave about it. No more...We need both around, and for a long time. Both these guys are so gifted.

And talking about around the block loosing parts - A couple years of motors and personnel changes, it's been a merry go round watching #8, Dale Earnhardt Jr. A guess (operative word), but the pressure in that family's kitchen has been hotter than a whistle hornet. However, through it all, Jr. has emerged with his health (looks good), and all those happy comforts (toys). Jr. is in Top 10 and I like it and hope it sticks. Not for me but for all those Fans who support the #8 Team, and Racing. Field of Red where-ever you go. Here's a thought...You with me? How about Jr buying his way in a seat if he don't make it. Afterall, it's been done before and nobody really gave a damn anyway......right..

Martin Truex Jr. where are you? Afterall, you raced a couple of cup races last years and showed ability to run up. Something has snatched up this guys desire I say whatever the heck it is, give it back cause I want to see this young good looking strong and able guy front and center. He showed me that he could lay on his side with fire flies coming out his rear end as he wheeled the k-rail only to get out and still have something to say about it. Has the dark empire stiked again?

Maybe the best move to correct settled in behavior is to say what Hendrix in all liklihood did - "in 91 races you haven't won". Call it mutual, I call it business but I say catch a wave, it's the future. Like in baseball, you step up to the plate, give a bone or two while you make MILLIONS!!! (dont feel sorry for them), marry superstar musicians, modles, actress, get traded and eventually dissapear somewhere out on the horizon.

It's just not what it use to be. What was 'what can I do for you sir, I'll win us those races', is "what can you do for me?'. I suppose those of us who dump our hearts into it can only assume the position...bend over cause your take it in the shorts falling 24/7 for any of it. Great Entertainment but welcome to, the new generation. *untouchables
