Best BuyWhen Jeff Green drove his #66 Samsung HDTV / Best Buy Chevy past Tony Raines’ #96 DLP HDTV Chevy on the final lap at Bristol Motor Speedway last weekend, Green gained more than just a position - he also won a friendly wager. Green and Raines agreed that whichever driver finished lower in the Bristol race must wear a hat advertising the other driver’s team and sponsor this weekend at California Speedway.

Green’s last lap pass means Raines will sport a #66 Best Buy racing hat for the Labor Day weekend event. In addition to occupying the primary sponsor position on the #66 Chevy, the yellow Best Buy tag logo will also be displayed on the quarter panels of Raines’ #96 DLP HDTV Chevy at California Speedway.

well remmeber also DLP TV’s are sold at Best buy…and the BB logos were always on the 96 car. So all it really is, is more air time for both sponsors.

i think thats what REAL nascar is. friendly wagers, competing sponsors (not this 1 sponsor per industry.)
