Jeff Gordon has a new ride, and it was made right in Oregon. Gordon ordered a luxury RV from Marathon Coach in Coburg, which is near Eugene. The $2 million dollar vehicle was custom designed for Gordon and his family.
The bus is headed for Florida, where the family’s driver will learn the ins and outs of the rig. You can expect to see the RV on the infield of races starting next season.
- Ryan Newman looking elsewhere in 2008?
- Stremme still trying to land Cup ride
- Sauter still searching for Cup ride for 2008
- New paint scheme for Jeff Burton in 2008
- Gordon looks to add 2nd car?

Jimmy gives 1/3 of a million $$$ to the Red Cross and Gordo blows 2 million on a new RV ??
I would bet the Red Cross could really use a new bus but Alas such is the needy life of a
NASCAR FAUX…
Very interesting outlook on the differences between the 2 golden boys of Hendricks.
bob you gota know if mom is not happy, he will bot be happy.
[Comment editedI, he earned that money not you and you should not tell him how to spend it.
Yeah Jimmie J did a great thing but if he never did it and kept the money
you woldnt be talking. So stop crying because you are broke.
Bob, umm hmm jeff gives plenty of his money away with his charity…he’s providing a home on the road to be with his family and care for them…so who cares what it costs…
Don’t get huffy people I just pointed out the differences between two drivers on a given news story day.
I have a had a very nice motor home and I can tell you that 1-1/2 mil. would have done the job nicely.
The other 1/2 mil would have made a great write off and went to a very worthy cause.
PS ANG
Gordos pay check does not fund his charities that you referred to. He lends his name to raise those $$ and that generates the money his charity works with. Not quite the same in my book but to each his own I guess…

Jeff gives alot of money to alot of charities and one thing I like about him is that he doesn’t talk about it unless someone else brings it up. So don’t go comparing a purchase to giving money away, you think Jimmie doesn’t spend most of his earnings on himself and his family?? Ha yeah right!!!1
Jeff Gordon has given untold amounts to charity over the past 15 years.
There is a phenomena with many of these drivers. Many spend the first
10 years exploiting their “give-aways” by deliberately advertising their
gesture publicly for personal attention. As they begin to grow up in
life and “mature”… they slowly stop talking about it during such
occurances because they begin to see the vanity in all the
self-glorification.
Gordon has probably given away untold millions to private charrites and
goodwill causes during recent seasons, but he’s becoming like
Teresa Earnhardt regarding private donations… they just don’t talk
about it publicly like the “youngsters” love to do…
It’s called: “Class”
capishe?
Who wouldn’t KK? I know I’d spend most of my money on myself and my family. Yeah, I’d give some of it to charity, but I live for myself–not others.
Back Off Bob!!! Jeff has given his fair share to charity and then
some. How much have you given???
I’m sure JG traded his current RV in on the new
one. His current RV was purchased, soon after
the divorce, so it’s time for a new one. He had
it designed, with a nursury for Ella.
JG gave up his Yacht, maids, nurses for Ella,
(within a short time) after Ella was born. He
doesn’t live beyond his means. Frankly, it’s
not our business to comment on his purchases.
Jimmie is sort of an “arrogant, look at me” type
of person. He loves to be in the lime light.
Also, HMS contributed to the Red Cross,—-
remember JG is part owner of HMS—so
part of HMS’s contribution was given by JG. He doesn’t need to say “look at me”.
How do we know, JG didn’t give Sunday’s race
earnings, and more to Red cross??? We don’t!!!
How many of you have had a new child in your life and totally
had to rearrange the house? Ella will be mobile next year
and new road digs are totally appropriate for the family!!
Give the guy a break.
