Notes: This is the second straight NASCAR Nextel Cup Series race at Atlanta at which teams will run this specific combination of left- and right-side tires . . . Atlanta is the only track that these tire codes will be run on in 2007 . . . while teams in both NASCAR series will run the same left-side code this weekend (D-4066), they will each have distinct right-side codes on their vehicles . . . as on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run inner liners in all four tire positions at Atlanta . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.
Goodyear Blimp: Goodyear’s “Spirit of Innovation,” based out of Pompano Beach, Fla., will be covering both NASCAR races at Atlanta this weekend.
