Jason,

I think thats the dumbest thing I have ever heard, so what ayour saying is because they didnt have problems in the past that a new car is the fault. Then BADYEAR better stop making street tires cause if i get a new model, your telling that the BADYEARS on there might not work cause its new. BADYEAR did the test they ignored the drivers, they just proved how hard it is for them to keep up with an evolving sport as it is for the ford dodge and chevy camps against the toyota. This sport is rapidly changing, its not like nascar pooped up one day adn said guess what new cars, goodyear has been involved in that car every step of the way, and has had test all over it knows the downforce it produces, this is not breaking news to badyear, they just proved how hard it is for them as a company to evlve in a changing enviorment.

Cannot blame it on Goodyear, blame it on the COT, they are too top heavy, of course when the car goes left it's going to wear out the right side tires, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure that out!!!

Funny when they had the Monte Carlo in, things didn't happen like that, tires wearing out, difficult for the drivers to handle, etc...etc....

BRING THE MONTE CARLO BACK AND ALL THE OTHER CARS NASCAR AND YOU'LL SEE THE DIFFERENCE !!!
no matter what everyone wants, the COT is here to stay. And furthermore, Goodyear tested at Indy prior to the race and still didn't learn.
*****************************************************

Explain why Goodyear never had any prior problems before the COT came out, indy anywhere???

I know why being a registered mechanic for 25 years ASE Cerified master auto and diesel...
