Bobby ginnFirst, Roger Penske announced he was planning to build a NASCAR test track near his shops in Mooresville, NC. Now, fellow car owner Bobby Ginn says he plans to build a NASCAR test track, probably a 11/2-miler, somewhere in South Carolina.

And the new owners of Virginia International Raceway (VIR), the road course near Danville, are considering adding a flat track specifically for NASCAR’s Nextel Cup testing.

    This is why I think Jr. will end up with Ginn. The man has resources and if he can build a test track then it’s a pretty good bet he can build Jr. some awesome race cars…

    I thought for sure RCR was a lock for Jr. but Ginn is showing his commitment, and I can
    see Jr race for him now, kinda reminds me of Earnhardt(I refuse to say Sr) first drivin for
    Richard back in the day.

    Yep Jayson Childress was just a startup team when Big E signed with him. Ginn’s build the best, get the best attitude puts me in mind of Childress back then.
