JGRNASCAR’s fines to crew chiefs often are considered fines to teams with the belief that the car owners pay them. But Joe Gibbs Racing President J.D. Gibbs said Nationwide Series crew chiefs Dave Rogers and Jason Ratcliff will be responsible for their $50,000 fines plus an in-house fine. Gibbs also will add to the length of the indefinite suspensions issued by NASCAR.

“If NASCAR comes back and says, ‘It’s [till] the end of the year,’ we’ll add to that,” Gibbs said. “If they come back and say, ‘It’s eight races,’ then we’ll go to the end of the year. And financially, we’ll add to that, too.”

Obviously Gibbs is using the two crew chiefs as scapegoats.

Joe is so out of the loop with the team only an idiot would believe that he did have something to do with it.

I blame it on the “hooligans” from JGRMX, They race Yamaha’s and those have to be some kind of Rival to Toyota…. l0l

They cant add to the fines, If he knew anything about NC labor laws they wouldnt be even saying this. A employer cannot fine a employee for something they have done on the job so the only one who can fine anyone is the sanctioning body.

JD is a spoiled brat who has always had everything, because of dad’s success and would throw his own mother in the fire to save himself. so it’s real easy to believe he would try to make it seem like he knew nothing. He is in charge and knows all that gos on.I ask you if they had discovered a new way to make speed how fast would he take credit, even if he knew nothing about how it was discovered
