GM cannot pay wages, insurance, retirement and all that kind of stuff and afford to be able to sell cars for the prices these foriegn companies sell their cars for. Do you also realize that when you buy one of these foriegn cars the profits go overseas to japan and not into the American economy. GM FORD and Chrysler are still American corporations and buying one of their products supports the economy here, not Japans.
