I hope Joe Gibbs racing never wins another race if he signs

with Toyota. He should be ashamed of himself , another

example of selling your soul to the foreigners for the

almighty dollar. We should also boycott every sponsor

who has their name on a toyota car

my thoughts exactly! people don’t realize that regardless of the fact that toyota’s are built here in the U.S. the profits go to Japan. Gibbs is a huge sellout in my opinion.

I am still in shock! I just can’t believe Gibbs would leave
Chevy for any other make especially a foreign one. I am a diehard
Tony Stewart fan and have been since his days of racing 3/4
midgets around Indiana. I will pull for Tony reguardless of what
he is racing. Now, all I can do is hope for Tony to go to DEI.
I don’t like the idea of him being teammates with Kyle Bush anyway.

So Im to guess none of you are into business or have any understanding of what business is all about. Not trying to be a smarta** but last time I checked you go into business to make money not to make sure everybody is happy. I dont care what tony drives,,,I will always support him,,and really dont understand how you can hate on Joe for wanting to make some money,,guess that means yall like turning down pay raises.

I just think its funny that all these people complain about Toyota because they arent a US company. Well I hate to break it to ya, but unless you are 100% American Indian then you are just like Toyota. By that I mean you are in a country that your heritage is not based out of. Get over it Toyota puts food on more US tables then GM, Ford, and Chrysler do combined.

why are nascar fans so narrow minded….grow up!

    RG - Konichiwa b!tches, indeed.

Every one of you crybabys who says you can’t support Gibbs or any of his drivers because of the sticker on the nose of their car, good riddance. We didn’t want you anyhow. Go attach yourself to Gordon or Jr’s rear end with everyone else. Us TRUE JGR fans will still be here, and guess what? When Tony, Denny or Kyle bring home Toyota’s first Cup and you come crawling back like the fairweather fans that you are, I’ll be right here to say I told you so!

I’m guessing that none of you guys who will be off the JGR bandwagon don’t buy your kids many toys, huh? They’re all made for an American company with American CEOs using Chinese factories, Chinese suppliers, and Chinese Labor. How many of your kids have toys that may have been affected by the recent recalls? Elmo? Thomas the Train? How many of you use computers (I’m guessing all of you, since this is the Internet and all)? Maybe you should look at the components used to make them… Doubt many parts are made here in the good old USA.

Yes, SmokeRulez20, Toyotas are built here in the USA. Yes, the profits go to Japan. BUT, guess what they do that the big three does not? Build their cars right here in the USA. The big three have shipped out their manufacturing to Mexico and Canada to put bread on the tables of the average working stiffs outside our borders, and the profits funnel right back to the CEOs here in the USA and they get rich. At least if the Japanese CEOs are getting rich, they’re giving my blue-collar friends in Princeton, Indiana and Georgetown, Kentucky jobs and putting food on their tables.

    Sheesh, it’s just a car.

Should we care what Tony Stewart does next year? We are about to enter the KYLE BUSCH & TOYOTA NASCAR ERA so maybe it would be better for everyone if Tony moved on ………..which would have to be the case if he wants to keep the title as a teams #1 driver.

  12. 12 minority

People who say they won’t back Tony because of what he drives was never a Tony Stewart fan from the start. If you don’t like foreigners or foreign products, throw away your tv, DVD player, cell phone, the very computer your using, because the parts, if not the whole product, were made overseas. While you’re at it, stop driving your Chevy or Ford because it sure as hell wasn’t made in the USA.

People with the hatred for the Japanese because of the war over 60 years ago, get over it! Why not talk smack about Porsche, BMW, Volkswagon, and all other German made cars since we also fought a war with them and also lost loved ones. If you say it’s different….. well, you’re just racist.

If Toyota(or should I say when) buys Chevy and saves them from bankruptcy, not a single JR fan will say sh!t. So, why complain now?

  14. 14 ARCA hero

Tony is trying to get out of his contract anyway to go race IndyCar for Ganassi because he really wants the 500. ‘08 will be his last year in cup.

  15. 15 Andy

ARCA hero. Grow up. Get some sense.

  16. 16 Rick

Hey whats this about selling his soul to a foreign company? if you have looked lately there are more toyotas built here in the states than ford or chevy or dodge. those are the companys who have sold themselves out and put many people out of work just watch toyota will win many races next year

  17. 17 Lee

Arca hero that was stupid tony isnt going back to that joke of a series Irl it doesnt pay crap they draw maybe 30,000 to races an half the tickets they have to give away just to get people in the stands.
