Dario FranchittiDario Franchitti is making his return here [Dover], but it’s not in the Sprint Cup race. Franchitti, who suffered a broken ankle in a Talladega Nationwide Series race, is returning in today’s race [Nationwide at Dover] here, the Heluva Good 200.

Franchitti’s Cup return will be next week at Pocono. Since the Nationwide race is half the distance of Sunday’s Best Buy 400, he said it’s “a smart decision.” He said the injury has been more frustrating than painful. “It was painful for about two days and that was it,” he said. “Then it was just a pain in the butt.”.
