Sad when a guy 8 seconds after you wreck comes along and smashes into you almost full speed. Get better Dario!

He flipped like what 3 times last year in an open cockpit openwheel car and didn’t get hurt at all, but he gets in what in the world of racing is considered a relatively mild crash, and he gets hurt.

Just goes to show you that just because a car looks like it’ll be safer doesn’t mean it will be.

Glad he’s ok, and like George said, I hope he doesn’t return until he is 100% healed up.

That was a nasty hit. I thought it was worse than it was. Welcome to NASCAR Dario. Where else can an international star like yourself almost get killed by a perennial backmarker like Gunselman? I know things happen quickly but it’s usually the same rockheads every time they make a race. I had flashbacks of Bobby Allison’s wreck that ended his driving career in 1988. Thank god these cars are well built and have to be inspected.
