Mclaren would be smart to hire coulthard. Hamilton needs a teammate that isnt quite fast enough to battle for the championship but has enough time behind the wheel to help with tons of feedback and driver training. He is the best at that, and it is exactly what mclaren needs. maybe 1-2 years max. then i could see him move to nascar.

sive, i agree 100% nascar is going down that’s why the other drivers are coming in, to try and bring it back up, hopefully they can!!

I always thought DC was the coolest, because I’m of Scotish descent myself, but also because when he drove for Williams and McLaren he was so exciting to watch. Now with all the spygate scandals, mistreation of drivers, and…dare I say it….Bernie Ecclestone’s senility and bad descision-making due to that, F1 is just not the same anymore. If DC wants to come over to the US (where he has a dedicated fanbase I might add), I’m completely for it. Run him in a program like whats about to be done with Scott Speed, TRB should be listening to this intently, he’s not getting any younger, you should talk him away from F1 before he changes his mind.

David Coulthard keeps dropping lower and lower in the F1 pecking order, but he runs the Driver Safety organization and is very involved with F1,
plus he is one of the richest men in Scotland so I do not see him coming across the pond! And a F1 and NASCAR fan, I don’t really want him over here~

I would like to see him race in the BTC or DTM series.

JPetschauer it may have been a different series, but the lineage carried over. Much like it did with NASCAR when it went from being the Sportsman series to the Busch series, and such.

jacques never won in the IRL he won the 500 & championship
when it was called the CART PPG INDY CAR WORLD SERIES not the IRL.
