Front Row Motorsports officials say the team will compete in the NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2008 with driver Eric McClure.
Front Row has competed full-time in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series for the past three years. McClure will drive the Chevrolet for a minimum of 32 Nationwide races as well as two Sprint Cup events, including attempting to make the field for the season-opening Daytona 500.
Hefty will continue to sponsor McClure for the third consecutive season and will be the team’s primary sponsor for 34 races.
“FRM is thrilled about the opportunity to partner with a talented driver like Eric McClure and a tremendous sponsor such as the Hefty Brand,” team owner Bob Jenkins said. “We have been looking for the right opportunity to expand into the Nationwide Series, and we felt like this was the perfect situation for all parties involved.”
