Bill Elliott Wood Brothers/JTG Racing officials announced Friday that Bill Elliott will drive the team’s No. 21 Sprint Cup Ford during Speedweeks at Daytona International Speedway next month.

Elliott will test the No. 21 Jan. 14-16 at Daytona and will drive in the Budweiser Shootout, the Gatorade Duels and the Daytona 500 - though since the No. 21 team finished outside the top 35 in owners points in 2007 Elliott is not guaranteed a starting spot in the 500.

What happened to my Main Man Ken Schrader Did they toss him out or what ? I think the Wood Bros are Dirty to not offer Ken a seat After all he stuck with them for awhile even though they stuckloser Bill Elliot in the car. The wood Bros have gotten behind in building engines and cars that are fast maybe the need some new blood in their shop with more up up to date equipment they are still stuck in the good old days and havent kept up with the new Technoloigy. And they need to get away from Ford.

This team in 2008 could’ve been a showcase for that silly Boris. We know he could’ve given them about 20 races they were looking for. They were not going to run a full season. And their 2007 problems came to light when Kenny got out and Jon Boy took over. Really can’t blame K-Dog for that whole top 35 dilemma.
