Edsel Ford II hired by ISC as Director

Edsel Ford II, great-grandson of pioneer automaker Henry Ford, is becoming a director of International Speedway Corp., owner of Daytona International Speedway. Ford, 58, due to be formally elected in November, will take over the board seat of Chairman William C. France, who died in June.
Ford has been a vice president of Ford Motor Co. since 1993. James C. France, William C. France’s brother, officially took over as ISC chairman. Lesa France Kennedy, ISC president and William’s daughter, became vice chairman.

Makes me wonder if ford is trying to get some favortisim from NASCAR
I guess Ford is tired of Nascar always kissing Chevy’s a$$.
Lets see ; They got rid of him at Ford because he didn’t know how to keep the company runing.
I guess he has the right stuff for NASCAR.. He will fit right in with the rest of them..
