Dale Earnhardt Jr. indicated in the past that he didn’t envision his JR Motorsports team going Nextel Cup racing.
But now that he’s unveiled a new shop for his Busch and Late Model teams, well, he could envision it “years down the road.”
“It was just so, so far down the road, it was ridiculous to even think about [Cup racing] or dream about it,” Earnhardt Jr. said Tuesday during an open house of the new shop. “Being closer and closer to something like that being a reality, it’s always a possibility.”
“With any company like ours, the sky’s the limit,” Earnhardt, Jr said. “You just have to maximize your opportunities and make sure you’re picking the right ones, working with the right people.”

Well he can get any sponser he wants, since he built in fans!
i’m not even sure the sky would be the limit.
I would say Jr. that it might be closer than what you think to becoming reality. Id like to see the Man get on his own two feet and follow in his dad’s footsteps. I believe with the right team and equipment he would roll.
His Dale Earnhardt Jr raceteam may just be the team and he does have the equipement Id like to see the boy get out there on his own.
OVER-RATED!!!!
Doesn’t matter who he drives for, there is no Championship in sight.
yaha dude look what hes in throw and dont think he whanted to bee rated the molst populr driver ithnk terea could have kept things right and he would be able to focus on winning driving more and has not had that chance cofort to do so after pops left o dont cut him down since he is not braging about being popular
