Earnhardt, Jr takes blame for crashing Busch at Kansas

Dale Earnhardt Jr. didn’t expect Kyle Busch to move up as high as he did when Earnhardt Jr. got into the back of Busch during the LifeLock 400 on Sunday at Kansas Speedway.
“It was a pretty stupid move on his part,” Busch said. “Obviously, I’m sure these guys he’s going to be working with next year don’t really appreciate this because they’ve got a championship they can win this year and he doesn’t.
“So, I don’t know what he was thinking, really, or what the problem was.”
Earnhardt, Jr took full blame for the accident.
“I just run into the back of him,” Earnhardt Jr. said. “We were coming off the corner and I was running the high side. I thought for a second there that he was going to give me the bottom.
“A lot of guys will still run the bottom down the straightaway if they know you’re running the top. For a second there, it looked like he was. And then he just moved up and I got into him.”
Earnhardt Jr. stressed that it was an accident.
“I should have been able to get out of the car and I was screaming as I was going by for him to save it, but he couldn’t gather it up,” Earnhardt Jr. said. “It was my fault.”

Hey Busch, ____ happens. Just look at your face. Earnhardt messed up and unlike your ___ he took blame for it.

Jr. was being and idiot.. Busch gave him room at top to go by.. He’d be more of an idiot if he didn’t take blame for it.

Jr. is taking Casey’s ride next year not Busch’s and Busch went down to give room for Jr. to pass but he stayed on his bumper.. He almost wrecked a few other drivers as well..

I still can’t believe all the hype about Jr… he did a dumba** move and people are STILL getting on Kyles sh**!!! Un friggin believable. I like Jr but damn I hate his fans. Only a select few will actually say something negative about what Jr did or does, the rest believe he can do no wrong. Yet again he didn’t make the chase and Kyle has/had a good shot at it. What happens next year if and when he doesn’t get in again? You won’t have Theresa to blame anymore… but even with THAT aside, Hendrick has done nothing but cheat. I wasn’t even a fan of Kyle but can admit he’s a good driver and has alot of potential with the right people. Junior is an “ok” driver (quoted by the guys on RaceDay). He has the name, that’s about it.

Stephanie knows what she is talking about. kyle did go down on jr so it was not his fault for this crash. i hate jr after a run in i had with him at Phoenix in 2006 so no i’m not a fan but ido have common sence that it wasn’t his fault from replay to the vindeo of the crash.

What a bunch of cry babies we have on this site sucking up to Shrub. As long as there is NASCAR, cars will run into each other. Junior did the most respectable thing and accept blame for the accident which he does more often then not whether a wreck is his fault or not. Kyle Busch, and other cry babies like him, just want to get angry and nasty and blame everything on everyone else. Kyle can’t even be man enough to say “Well, Junior got a run on me off the corner and I guess he mis-judged where I was going on the track. I’m in the middle of a Championship hunt right now so I hope this is my only mulligin. We’re going to be working extra hard to make up these points next week at ‘Dega.” Is that so flippin hard?????? Is it such a burden to act like an adult and be a man. Kyle is acting like JR bumping him was some personal attack. If you race in NASCAR you are going to get bumped every now and again. Kyle needs to suck it up or do us all a favor and take up a career where no one will ever have to see him or hear him again.
Jr. is one of the most respectable people out on the race track.I’m not saying Jr’s perfect,but aleast he’ll let you know “hey I made a mistake”. When was the last time Kyle ever said that.
Even if he wrecks ya or not, he takes responsibility for it. If Kyle cant take being roughed up alittle,he doesn’t belong in nascar. Wrecks happen thats just racing. I do admit Kyle does have some talent in driving a car. He just needs to stop being such a crybaby and accept for what it was,a racing accident. He’s inconsistent in griping. He gripes about this race,but he doesn’t say too much about the his big wreck at Daytona that could have had him out of racing altogether.
I just watched the replay of the crash, since I did not get to watch the race, and I would have to agree with Stephanie and others that have expressed the same opinion. It was an accident, that is all, Jr. took responsiblity for it. On another note, do we have to rehash who Jr.’s dad is and all that crap. Everytime there is a bit of controversy involving him, we get the same NASCAR fans that have to scream it out that the only reason he is as popular or as famous of a name in the sport is because of his dad! Get off your high horses, we all know this, and we get tired of hearing it all the time! MOVE ON and find something else to grip about please! He is going to have his fans, just like other drivers have their fans. Yes I am a fan, but I DID NOT watch his dad race, he earned my loyalty, and I have admitted when he has done something that I thought was wrong, but far be it from me to judge what he does!(Getting of my soap box now!)

MIKE B, the point is, JR TOOK RESPONSIBILITY!! Unlike a few other drivers, that could learn a thing or two from him!!!(STEWART!!!)
Jr. Almost wrecked Stewart when Stewart passed Jr. then Jr. went down into him which almost could of tooken him out.. I believe he did the same thing with Biffle.
Maybe if the media wouldn’t get in Stewart’s face as soon as he gets out his car and looked at the replay he wouldn’t be getting into trouble as much.. he has anger problems which alot of people have.. the Busch brothers do too.. some people can stay calm throughout the race.. like Mark and Jr.. others can’t.

jr alost took out riggs at the beginning of the race in front of everyone, then takes a chase member out? and people are worried about jv taking members out at talledega and not racing good, right now, he looks to be in better position than jr for helping those in the chase
