Dale Earnhardt Jr. won’t renew his membership in the Gillette Young Guns program next year as he seeks to refine his endorsement strategy, Street & Smith’s SportsBusiness Daily reports.
The razor company is in the process of formulating plans for 2007 and is not expected to make an announcement on changes until February at Daytona International Speedway, staff writer Michael Smith reports.
The Young Gun program this year included Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Kurt Busch, Ryan Newman, Jamie McMurray and Carl Edwards.
- Gillette Young Guns team to get new driver
- Kasey Kahne joins Gillette Young Guns
- Johnson dumps Gillette, looks for broader appeal
- Fast Cars & Superstars reality show to debut June 7 on ABC
- NASCAR reality series set for ABC

that dont mean ill stop using Gillette Razors hehehe they are by far the best..but i am sad to see him leave as im sure they are as well..he prob brings in ALOT of money as he does for Budweiser..cause you know bud’s sales werent that great when ricky craven was sponsored by them lol
Isn’t Kasey Kahne taking Jr’s place?? I hope so!!
From sources I have found that upon Jrs. exit of the program two new candidates have been selected and agreed to the program. This has been proven factual, but theres a little buzz on the two drivers but top sources name Kasey Kahne and Jeff Gordon.
Did Stewart drop out or did he get asked to leave?
