Kyle BuschThree security guards walked into the media center with Kyle Busch during Monday’s test session at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, but none was needed. Although fans threw things onto the track at Richmond International Speedway following Saturday night’s late-race incident between Busch and Dale Earnhardt Jr. and a few tossed obscenities at Busch later that night on his way to the helipad, Busch said his life is not in danger.

He agreed with Earnhardt that the wreck, which kept Busch from winning his third race of the year and NASCAR’s most popular driver from ending a two-year losing streak, was the result of hard racing.

“No, there’s not been any death threats,” Busch said. “That would be ludicrous, I guess. Maybe they’re out there. I haven’t seen them. I hope my well being is safe in this deal.

“Since Junior ended up OK, then hopefully I can end up OK.”

Earnhardt certainly doesn’t hold a grudge.

“I took him out at Kansas last year during the Chase,” he said. “That’s really why I wouldn’t be more vocal or angry about it. I’d just be hypocritical in that sense. We’ve both kind of been on each side of it between the two of us.

“Hopefully, once me and him have a chance to talk about it we can come to some kind of understanding to where we don’t ever have to deal with it.”

NASCAR wanted this emotion put back into the sport, they want the beaten and bangin put back into it to get some excitement back because the fans were complaining it was too BORING, now we have it back and your still complaining, make up your mind, this is what you all wanted, just because it was Dale Jr. you cant stand it. if it was anyone else you wouldnt be complaining. your never happy.

Howie……….Every major sport has complaining. It’s kind of like watching a major football game at a bar. (times a million) It’s just as ugly. It’s just more noticable now with the internet. There is a lot more inner-acting, which just makes it better!! The sport would have as much hype without it.

There’s no blame for Kyle to take. Your boy Dale even said it was a racing deal and Kyle agrees that it was. They are on exactly the same page here.

Howie, you’re right. People complained that the racing was boring and now they complain that people are “reckless”. They complained because all the drivers were plain-vanilla corporate shtick spouting robots, and people like Tony, Harvick and Kyle come along, and those same people complain about them saying exactly what’s on their minds! No matter what happens, it’s never going to be good enough for most folks. It’s something that happens in all sports, but it seems like NASCAR fans are especially impossible to please.

Thank you Sam, that is my thought exactly. Why should we be all upset and pissy if the drivers involved themselves are not? I’m all for having a little controversy and excitement, but I think we all need to be a little more mature about this. I mean, hell, I hear more bitching and complaining and threatening remarks from fans than I do the drivers. Think about it this way……. when you are getting together with your friends, coworkers, whoever on the weekend to have a cook out and maybe play some sports, are you doing that to have fun or to fight over weather or not the volleyball was out of bounds? Most of us are doing it to have fun. Well, that’s what the drivers are doing when they race, having fun. They are not there because the want or need a job, if that’s the case, I’m sure they would be doing something else. They are there because they enjoy racing. Yes, they all want to win races and championships and they do get upset when things don’t always work out, but in the end, they are there having fun and not really stressing or worrying about the little things, like, for example, he hit me, so I’m going to stay mad at him forever and he’s a dead man, and all that crap. No, the drivers may hold a grudge for a little while, but they definitely do not take it to the extremes that the fans tend to. Anyway, I think we should all think about this the next time we want to complain about something and figure out whether or not we are being mature about things and not taking the fun and enjoyment out of the sport.

They would be laughing at all of this on here right now because today in the garage at Lowes Jr. had his foot up on the tool box and Kyle had his arm on the tool box and they were just sittin there shootin the bull for the longest time.

Because they are friends and the only reason they said what they both said on Saturday night was because they were all hyped up from racing.

It’s no different then when you go out to the bar with a friend and get drunk and end up fighting over something stupid, and the next day you wake up and realize that what you did the night before was because you were all hyped up and it didn’t mean anything and there are no hard feelings.

It must be great to be able to read peoples minds with such accuracy… lol

The idea is to win and if someone keeps dumping you (right or wrong) your not likely to forgive and forget so easily as you think. In the back of your mind you remember and next time won’t be so willing to work with or move outa the way or in anyway help that person. Been there done that…

Remember these 45 or so drivers must work with and see each other every week as well as crew members, NASCAR officials, track personal etc…each week !! It would be anti-productive to hold a grudge to long, but forgetting about it on the track.. I think not.

Kyle Busch is going to get someone hurt one of these days. And I’m not just saying this because I am a Dale Jr fan. I have said this all along. He drives to erratic on that track.

But I’m glad that the two of them are trying to move on. That’s what they need to do. What irks me though, is that Kyle Busch is the ONLY one who is saying that Dale Jr moved down onto him. Everyone else is saying that it looked like Kyle got loose. If Kyle got loose, don’t you reckon he would have known that?? All he would have to do is admit that the car got loose and he got into Dale Jr. Yes, the blame lies with both of them, it is called hard racing.

Kyle Busch has a long way to go to get any respect from me. He is too immature in his interviews and such. I’ve never liked a driver who cannot have an interview and say nothing negative-even in victory lane.

Well even Dale Jrs teamate Jeff Gordon said today that is was just hard racing so i dont know why after Dale Jr. said it was just hard racing and NASCAR said it was hard racing and they dont have a problem with it why do you? its over and were in Darlington this week a new track, a new week and everyone will get on with life and the past is the past.

Hmmm…What do you add? Besides telling us how you are always in the pits with some nice guy watching the drivers!

If I was in the pits, I would not be on this blog!!!! Sorry Kenneth but nothing would be better than being in the pits for real!

Ok they made up good for them but next week he will just wreck someone else. Kyle really needs to learn when and when not to race someone that hard. He has alot of talent but needs learn to use his head a little more often.

Out of K Busch’s Mouth, and not Jrs.
