Daytona International Speedway renamed DeLana International Speedway
Quote selected text Published December 8th, 2006 in NASCAR NewsKevin Harvick Inc. and owner DeLana Harvick have dominated the past two Daytona 300 Busch Series races at Daytona International Speedway, winning the season-opening events with driver Tony Stewart. With Kevin Harvick Inc.’s success in the Daytona 300, Daytona International Speedway President Robin Braig announced that the legendary historic motorsports facility will now carry the name of its team owner — DeLana — for the day.
“Kevin Harvick Inc. and its owner DeLana Harvick have won the last two February Busch Series races at DIS,” Braig said. “Since they � ‘own’ the track, in their honor, we’re going to change the name of Daytona International Speedway to ‘DeLana International Speedway’ for the day.”

Isn’t HE the one who won the races??
His team, owned by Delana, with the races won by Tony Stewart.
Thanks Robert Yates,A few weeks ago I made Comments on this site That Robert Yates should drop the #88 and return the #28 which he had so much good luck with.What a good choice..I will and I’m sure many other fans will be glad to see the # 28 back on the track and in victory circle ……….and surely blessed by Davey Allison
