The sport has missed one of it’s brightest young stars greatest people for 14 years. My heart is with the Allison’s today on the anniversary of
Davey’s death. The 28 team has never been the same without you.
I was too young to understand the magnitude of Davey’s talent, and I didn’t start follwing NASCAR until a few years later, but I find myself missing him more w/ each passing day. He was a true legend, and if he were still alive today, he’d be trading wins and titles w/ Jeff Gordon. I think he’d have @ least 3 championships. Davey, I miss you.
It was such a sad day for Nascar when Davey died. His talents were onl
only just beginning to show. He had such a bright future!! It
broke my heart!
Thoughts and Prayers to the Allison family on this sad day.
Davey, today like every year on this day I think of you. I know you were an organ donor and on this day 14 years ago I received a new liver. Rumors through the media (calling the hospital) said it may be yours. If this is true I wasnt everyone to know that Davey does live on. Thank you to that special family.
davey was and always be my alltime favorite driver to me he was the best driver ever.and i still miss him alot to the alison family you have all my thoughts and prayers.
Davey was my favorite driver , even my favorite person in any sport and I was crushed when he died. Just like all the Earnhardt Senior fans still love him , I still feel that way about Davey. I met him 5 times at autograph seessions and he was always the same friendly , laughing , socialable person that he was on tv. He was truely a fans driver. I have so much davey stuff still on the walls in my house. My most prized item is the photo finish from the Winston where he and Kyle are crashing and he autographed it for me a few months before he died. He was a great driver , person and role model and I still miss him.
Davey would have taken many of Gordon, Wallaces, and even my all time fav Earnhardt’s
wins and maybe even championships, he had that kind of talent and he will always be missed
this guy could really drive and had a great personiality.
Although never an Allison family fan, I will always recognize and respect their obvious talent. Davey Allison was a talented and entertaining driver who made NASCAR a better series when he participated.
I myself live in Hueytown Ala, and was lucky to know all the alabama gang.Davey was the next superstar .waIt was a sad day when we lost Dsvey, and yes my heart goes out to his family.God bless!
We do miss you Davey…you were fun to watch.
