OF COURSE IT’S JR. HES AWESOME AND WITH HENDRICK NEXT YEAR HE WILL KICK BUTT:)
everyone on the list is a champion except………
LeBron James.
Even Junior has a championship. Back to back in the Busch series.
And DEI let him walk!!!
Oh Busch! hahaha
You think Matt Kenseth cares about finishing 2nd twice to JR in Busch? LMAO! He’s too busy keeping his Nascar Championship Trophy looking good.
How is he ranked 6th? He isn’t that great of a driver. He doesn’t match any of them there stars.
he’s a public figure
Actually.. besides his incredible ability you people seem to lack in giving him, Dale Earnhardt Jr is an ideal role model. I personally look up to him. His personality is extrordinary, he is talented, you never see him lose his cool, you never hear him trashtalking other drivers, and he doesn’t instantly blame other drivers when being interviewed. Dale Jr has always had an upbeat attitude about racing and life and he’s a fun guy.
So Nascarfan4life24, it wouldn’t matter if he was the worst driver in racing history, it’s not always about winning, it’s about the individual and how he worked his way to the top and how he earns his respect.
So you want to know why he is ranked in the top 10? It’s because he is well respected by fans and his fellow drivers, and his fans are his fans because of who he is, not because of his dad, and I’m living proof of that. I wasn’t around the Nascar world when Dale Sr. was alive. I was Junior’s fan before I even knew of his dad’s incident. So please, don’t make that an excuse of why he has so many fans. Give him respect.
Well Andy, I was around long before SR’s accident and I agree with just about everything you say. ‘Incredably talented’ is pushing it, but, he is in the top 12 or so for stock car drivers. If you want to talk about the best racers in the world, he would not make the top 25.
JR is a much better sport then his father ever was, but, he seems content to just hang out. Not really the leader type his old man was. More of the likable type. I think the big earnings these days have changed some drivers to not be as hungry and take it easy a bit to keep getting those fat checks. I don’t blame ‘em, I wish I had his paychecks.
JR says he wants a title badly, but, you don’t see it in his eyes like his old man.
I think Andy was right on with his analogy of why Jr. has so many fans.
I also disagree that JR. does not have a burning to win a championship other wise he would have stayed snug as a bug in the DEI camp making loads of $$ and just hanging out.
Give the man credit for leaving to run in a place where he will have the goods to win with. Even if he never wins a championship in (cup ) he is a winner in life and in the eyes of many who admire his style.
