interesting.
This is great, great news. Jeremy McGrath and Ricky Carmichael were my two favorites in motocross, in their transition to NASCAR they’ve both wound up with great teams. I’ll be excited to see how well he does, Carmichael was running well in his first late-model race before he had a flat tire, if McGrath approaches NASCAR with the same view as Carmichael, it’s going to be a great thing. I like what all these open-wheel drivers and motocross drivers and bringing into NASCAR and stock car racing as a whole, they come in with impressive resume’s and alot of them are making the transition very well, they also bring a different feeling into the sport. Then again motocross and NASCAR crossing paths isn’t a new thing, Joe Nemechek, Clint Bowyer, and even Ricky Rudd (I’m pretty sure), raced in motocross at some point, there’s probably a few I forgot to mention.
I think that was a great choice by Dale Jr signing McGrath on. McGrath and Carmichael are two of the best Motocross racers out there. And now they have the chance to become two of the best Nascar racers. Good luck boys!!! It’s a whole different ballgame behind wheels instead of handlebars. Good Luck and I think it was a smart choice Junebug!!
Now they can wreck into each other like back in the supercross days!
