Most Daytona/Indy 500 pace cars look like matchbox cars for some reason.
gvk3 uguly you must be a ford lover
I do love Corvettes, I wish it was painted Black. But who’s cares. A corvette wins hands down for an excellent Pace Car. I’d take it in a Heart beat………………
just look at the pait job! it looks like crap!
its sad. especially now with the COU(car of ugly), that when i watch the 500 next year i would rather drive the pace car than one of the race cars. if they let it, you know the vette could win the race! even with bigger plates on the COU, the Z06 still has at least 50 more horses.
The Corvette Z06 can actually turn a faster lap time at Daytona, then the restricted cup cars. Since, restricted cup cars turn 193 MPH at the end of the front stretch in the draft, The z06 could turn 198 MPH while by itself.
Was anyone at the 06 Daytona 500 when Jay Leno stopeed the Z06 pacecar on the backstretch and did a burnout with it about an hour before the start of the race?
