co-owner John Henry of Roush Fenway to be on Wind Tunnel
Quote selected text Published March 24th, 2007 in NASCAR News
John Henry, co-owner of Roush Fenway Racing, will be the featured interview on Wind Tunnel with Dave Despain this Sunday on SPEED at 9:00pm/et.
As principal owner of one of Major League Baseball’s most prized teams, the Boston Red Sox, Henry is also a big race fan. Taking that passion to the next level, Henry bought a 50-percent stake in Jack Roush’s famed Roush Racing in February. The new team, Roush Fenway Racing, will be marketed in the Boston area as a home team of sorts — a unique strategy that should broaden the team’s reach for its drivers and sponsors.
Despain will talk to Henry about his passion for racing, his partnership with Jack Roush, and discuss how NASCAR can gain the interest of the traditional stick-and-ball fans in Boston and across the country.
