Carpentier to test at Memphis Monday

Canadian Patrick Carpentier is scheduled to test the #10 Nextel Cup Series car for Gillett Evernham Motorsports (GEM) on Monday, Nov. 5, at Memphis Motorsports Park. Carpentier will take over the driving duties of the #10 Dodge for the final two Cup races of the season (in Phoenix and Homestead) and full time in 2008.
Fans can watch testing sessions at the NASCAR oval from Grandstand G at no charge. The garage and infield are not open to the public. Schedule subject to change. Test times vary. NASCAR returns to Memphis Motorsports Park in June 2008 with the Craftsman Truck Series, and October 2008 with the Nationwide Series.
