Carmichael to make second stock car start
Quote selected text Published April 21st, 2007 in NASCAR News
Former motocross champion Ricky Carmichael will make his second start in a stock car this weekend, running the 50-lap Super Late Model feature at New Smyrna (Fla.) Speedway.
But he’ll have to do it without the help of his mentor, Mark Martin. Martin is racing the No. 01 Chevrolet in Nextel Cup at Phoenix on Saturday night but is expected to be back at New Smyrna with Carmichael next week when he skips Talladega.
