Carl EdwardsCarl Edwards raced to his second consecutive NASCAR Busch Series victory, easily winning the Pepsi 300 on Saturday at Nashville Superspeedway to extend his lead in the season standings.

The Nextel Cup driver led the final 25 laps and crossed the finish line 4.7 seconds ahead of David Reutimann. Dave Blaney, who was involved in an early fracas, rallied to finish third. Jason Leffler was fourth, followed by Regan Smith.

It was Edward’s 11th career Busch Series win and his second straight at Nashville. Edwards also has won a Craftsman Truck Series race on the 1.3-mile concrete oval.

    Carl ran away “far away” with that victory. Way to go Carl and the whole #60 team! I’ll be keepin’ my fingers crossed that my driver Carl get’s to do his famous Flip next week in both races in Texas.
