What did officials do? They practiced Saturday AM when they were to qualify and then qualified later in the day. I believe they then threw a competition yellow after so many laps to insure tire wear etc. I am sure they could do in cup what they do in CTS and Nationwide. I think too the cup guys get way too many chances to practice over two days compared to the lesser series and it only helps the teams with deep pockets.
