Camping World Inc., America’s largest direct marketer and specialty retailer of recreational vehicles and outdoor camping accessories and services and Richard Childress Racing (RCR) have agreed to a one-year contract extension. The extension will showcase Camping World as the primary sponsor of Clint Bowyer’s No. 2 Chevrolet in 10 races as the Emporia, Kan., native pursues the 2008 NASCAR Nationwide Series Championship.
Camping World will also be a major associate sponsor on RCR’s No. 2 machine for the remaining 25 races and be featured on the car’s lower front quarter-panels.
“Clint Bowyer has proven to be a valuable spokesman for Camping World and our participating vendors and suppliers,” said Camping World President and CEO Marcus Lemonis. “We are pleased to, once again, align ourselves with one of the top drivers in NASCAR. As well, our association with Richard Childress and his organization has facilitated the creation of some important new business relationships and we are excited about the prospects for even more opportunities for additional partnerships in 2008.”
