Budweiser to Host Dale Earnhardt, Jr Webcast

The “One Night Stand” event, hosted by Marty Smith of NASCAR.com, will include on-stage interviews with Dale Jr. and special guest, pro bull rider Ross Coleman. The show will include video highlights from their respective careers. Earnhardt Jr. (sponsored by Budweiser) and Coleman (sponsored by Bud Light) have been friends for several years since meeting at an Anheuser-Busch convention.
Earnhardt Jr., winner of the 2004 Daytona 500 and a two-time NASCAR Busch Series champion, is currently fourth in the NASCAR Nextel Cup point standings after 15 races. He has one victory, five top-five and seven top-10 finishes so far in 2006. He has 17 career victories in NASCAR’s top division. He has been selected as NASCAR’s Favorite Driver for three consecutive years and was named this month as one of America’s Top-Five Favorite Athletes by a Harris Interactive poll. He is featured on this week’s People Magazine list of the “Hottest Bachelors of 2006.”
Coleman, who resides in Redmond, Ore., has career earnings of more than $1 million on the Pro Bull Riders circuit. Coleman has five top-five PBR finishes this year, including a victory at the Southern Ford Dealer’s Challenge event in Tampa, FL. Coleman retains the record for the richest payout for a single ride in PBR history, a $100,000 bonus for riding the bull Copenhagen Tuff-E-Nuff in Columbus, Ohio in 2001. Coleman has qualified for the PBR World Finals each year since joining the organization in 1999.
