Bill Weber to Stay on at TNT, Will Anchor NASCAR Races

Weber said he “talked briefly” to ABC/ESPN, which next year inherits NASCAR late-season coverage from the current joint venture of NBC and TNT that Weber currently hosts. But Weber says he always figured he’d stick with TNT because, even before the new TV deals were done, he got “one of those Deep Throat notes under the door at 3 a.m. telling me that no matter what happens, I’d have a place at Turner.”
