Raced in the ASALMS in the Midwest and was not impressive in 2006. Hired former ARCA star and Midwestern hot shoe Dave Weltmeyer for 2007 and got noticed. Then he wound up in an ARCA car and spanked the veterans including Kimmel. Davis shouldn't get too excited. His former driver Mayfield was an ARCA driver too. He couldn't make Cup races for BDR.
