Greg Biffle said on Thursday he remains 100 percent committed to re-signing with Roush Fenway Racing.
Biffle’s commitment to signing a new deal was questioned after he criticized his team following Saturday night’s race at Darlington Raceway. He had the fastest car the first half of the race, but fell back because of a loose wheel and then was sidelined when the timing belt broke.
“That had nothing to do with my contract,” he said before the All-Star Pit Crew Challenge at the Charlotte Bobcats Arena. “I was mad my stuff was broke.”
Biffle said negotiations are continuing and he hopes to finish a deal by mid-summer.
“That is my focus,” he said. “My focus hasn’t changed.”

Make up your mind Biff.

Actually, it’s all been speculation in the media saying he’s not going back to Roush. I don’t think I’ve heard him say he wasn’t going to come back and then flip-flop to now saying he wants to stay. These contract things take time, and it’s not like there’s any real rush to get it done if both sides are committed to the re-signing.
I just don’t get why anyone would want to stay with Roush when Chevy and Toyota are running so well and the fords have been mostly junk? It’s nice that he’s so loyal, or maybe he sees something on the inside that we don’t see, but I’d be trying to get the heck out of any Ford camp if I could!
Ask Biff again the next time he’s knocked out of the race for mechanical reasons.
Wishful thinking, I guess, but I’d love to see him in the new Childress ride.
He better think real hard about last year when Roush dragged their feet on testing and biff was on the outside looking in. If anyone thinks Jack won’t start pinching pennies once them contracts are signed think again.
Run Forrest, run! I meant Biff.

Carl Edwards doesnt seem to have any problems winning in a Ford. The 4 Hendricks drivers arent setting the world on fire in those”great” Chevys. I guess everyone has their own opinion.
