Seems as if everybody has forgotten the whole idea of due process and how it works. Also, that little phrase,, innocent till proven guilty. I love dogs as much as the next person, but Vick still has rights, so talking about killing him, sending him straight to jail is just crazy.. I think with only seven races left till the chace starts Biffle needs worry more about getting in the chace and less about bringing attention to his organization. BUT, if he is found guilty by a jury, then get the chains and the junk yard ready like chris stated above.

I don’t agree with “an eye for an eye” because if you’re so against
what they’re doing, why lower yourself to that level? I certainly
don’t agree with sterilized needles for a series of shots that are
going to kill them anyway and all that bs, but I don’t think it’s
right to be like “Oh this is so completely wrong, let’s do the same
thing”. Just never made sense to me.

People that grow up thinking its ok to kill each other over shoes or sports coats of course think animals mauling each other is “no big deal”. I hear many at work already trying to make this a race issue too.

I don’t think it’s an inhumane way for Vick to die. I believe in the Old Testament rule of an “eye for an eye”. If you can do this cruel retarded thing to a dog, or any living thing for that matter, then you can certainly do it to Michael Vick.

This whole thing makes me sick. I have a pit bull and she is the love of my life. I also have a yorkie. To think they take other little dogs and use them as bait just makes me wonder what is happening to this sick, disgusting world. I think we should let some of those hungry, abused dogs chew on Vicks butt and then when he is hurt and wounded, beat him and then shock him, then drown him. And to me this is still too inhumane of a way for Vick to die!!!

For everyone that hates the special treatment that athletes get from judges trying to make a name for themselves and whatnot, I don’t know that you’ll see that here. This case is The United States of America vs Mike Vick, not Surry County, Virginia, or some other local yahoos. When Jamal Lewis was federally indicted on the drug charge, he did time. When Ray Lewis was indicted by local GA Authorities, he walked.

Also agreed that Biff isn’t bandwagon jumping or piling on. Just look at http://www.gregbifflefoundation.com/... I have their calendar hanging in my kitchen right now so I know what they do and have contributed to them in the past.

Yeah, I see what you say. I’m a Dem and I HATE what our party has turned into. I am growing more Conservative every day. Bottom line, is I won’t surprised if the NAACP (which, BTW is a racist name in itself. The CP stands for “Colored People”, and according to the PC Left-Wingers, you can’t call blacks “colored” anymore, one of the few PC terms I totally agree with.) takes on this case to defend Vick. Oh, and I just LOVE how he pleaded NOT GUILTY to his charges today. We all know good and well he IS guilty.

If laws didn’t exist for me in this country, Michael Vick would be dead by now. I would’ve stolen him from his front yard, filled a junkyard w/ tons of psychotic pitbulls, put a chain around Vick’s legs, and watch him be torn to shreds by my dogs. He should be arrested even if it’s only for stealing dogs off of other people’s property. Theft is a felony.

The NAACP does take things too far and expect reverse racism, and in
this case if they tried stuff like you’d be right, it’d be stupid.
But not all left-wingers expect reverse racism either. I’m just an
open-minded person and detest democrats just as much as republicans,
but I just felt a need to clarify that.

By the way, where’s Newman’s comments? Isn’t he supposed to be all
pro-animal rights as well?

Biff isn’t just jumping on the bandwagon… he runs an organization against animal abuse. it would be the same as if any leader of an animal rights group came forward. its not like where random celebs pop up and go “animal abuse is wrong”

I’ve always had tons of respect for The Biff. And once again, I totally agree w/ him. Michael Vick is guilty until proven innocent, however, he is DEFINITELY not innocent. He deserves the fullest extent of the law, but he won’t, b/c he is famous sports athlete. That’s what happens when you are a celebrity. You don’t have to get punishment for BREAKING THE LAW. Even iff the courts do grow a pair, he’ll still get off, b/c those racists down over @ the NAACP will preach their left wing bulls**t that he was sentenced b/c he was black.

Good thing you are young, you still have much time to actually accomplish that daring feat.

Things like dog-fighting are much like steroids and other performance enhancing drugs…the more you look into them ,the more disgusted you get because it turns out to be much more widespread the you first thought.

Who would have thought golfers take steroids? But, that accusation was made last week.

Hey Billy, we haven’t been proud of Vick in quite a long time (we being the rational Falcons fans that want to see our team consistently win, regardless of who is leading the team). At best Vick is a mediocre passer with poor decision making skills (both on and off the field).

The one thing that Vick has consistently done is make Arthur Blank a boatload of money and that’s the only reason King Arthur has coddled him and allowed this mess to go on like it has.

I also agree that he is far from the first or last guy to be caught up in this horrible activity, but he’s by far the most prominent. Heck, if you saw the article that Deion Sanders wrote, he says: “I believe Vick had a passion for dogfighting. I know many athletes who share his passion. The allure is the intensity and the challenge of a dog fighting to the death. It’s like ultimate fighting, but the dog doesn’t tap out when he knows he can’t win.”

Like that senator dude said the other day, there’s a special place in hell for people like Vick and anyone who would do something like this to an animal.
