Pat Tryson, crew chief for Greg Biffle (right), has left Roush Fenway Racing, a team spokesperson confirmed Wednesday.
Team engineering manager Chris Andrews, a former crew chief, will take Tryson’s place in this weekend’s Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.
Andrews previously worked as a crew chief at Evernham Motorsports and Richard Childress Racing.
Tryson was paired with Biffle for the 2007 season after team owner Jack Roush shuffled management of some teams. Tryson previously worked with Mark Martin, guiding the No. 6 team to the Chase For The Nextel Cup last year.

Biffle seems to have great relationships with his crew chiefs…
Pat is a class act. I don’t see him out of work for long. He works well with guys on the way up and guys near the end of the road. He would be a nice fit for guys like Scott Riggs or Nemechek.
