Once again I have to agree with Andrew. I’m very disappointed with ABC/ESPN over last weeks decision to cover the fire and not the race. Brad Dougherty sucks as a commentator, but Affirmative Action ABC has to have a black man in there to look politically correct. If Fox could cover NASCAR all season it would be pretty sweet….

I agree with Donny, have NBC broadcast the entire season

The bad thing is ABC/ESPN has like an 8 year contract so we are stuck with them. They have the worst coverage and annoucers ever. They are all clueless. Rusty is the only one who knows anything but he is a horrible annoucer. It has nothing to do with how they are qualifing. Nascar is going down hill all around to much of a money hungry sport now.

I believe that anyone who makes comments about Brad Dougherty like this do not have a clue about the man’s expertise in this area.

The man went to College at North Carolina which also happens to be a NASCAR STATE he made it through to the NBA playing for Cleveland. After his pro ball days were over he returned to fullfill his interests in NASCAR. He was an owner of a NASCAR CRAFTSMAN TRUCK and a BUSCH CAR. He has been involved with NASCAR for over 20 years. He knows more about every driver in the state of North Carolina than about 99.9% of you.

Folks should not be ignorant about Brad Dougherty just because he is black. This man knows his NASCAR and folks

    Grow Up America,

I think Mr. Dougherty is doing a great job. His analysis is not fake. He is without a doubt the man to help break the color barrier in this sport.

When can we accept a person who is knowledgable in his craft and forget about the color of his skin?

I have been watching NASCAR since 1979, Brad’s commentary is on the money.
