John Andretti, who drove for the BAM team at the end of last season, likely would not return to the seat. BAM Racing has not solidified its driver lineup beyond the Daytona 500.
Ken Schrader will attempt to qualify the No. 49 for the team with sponsorship from healthlife.com, BAM Racing marketing coordinator Rhett Vandiver said Tuesday. A sponsor for the Budweiser Shootout is still to be named and a driver beyond Speedweeks is still to be determined, Vandiver said.
- Andretti to make COT debut in Phoenix
- John Andretti to drive for Petty at Loudon
- John Andretti returns to Petty Enterprises
- Andretti to return to BAM full-time in 2008
- John Andretti to lend voice to IMS Radio Network, not run Brickyard 400

Keep Schrader and build fast cars to win with instead of just cars to ride around and look pretty in.
I would like to see Ward get that ride
All we heard from BAM the past 4 months was they were happy to have Andretti on board for 2008. Now he bailed on them just weeks before Daytona. I don’t see any other rides available. Why did he leave?
