This weekend, John Andretti and the #37 Camping World Dodge team will head to 1.5-mile Texas Motor Speedway teaming with Front Row Motorsports. Andretti raced the #37 Camping World Dodge earlier this season at the two-mile California Speedway. Andretti was strong throughout the event, racing in the top-15, before an electrical problem dropped the team out of contention. Andretti will be looking to make his eighth career start at Texas this weekend in Nextel Cup competition.
“We’re bringing the same car that we raced in California to Texas. We had an electrical problem at California, but before that we were pretty fast. That’s promising. Ernie Elliott prepares the engines for the cars, and his reputation speaks for itself. We haven’t lost anything under the hood. Looking at those factors, we feel that not only do we feel good about qualifying, but we think we can have a strong race.”
